Description
Entoma Vasilissa Zeta is the sixth and youngest of the Pleiades Battle Maids, a grotesque yet loyal insectoid creature who serves as Nazarick’s silent assassin and infiltrator. Created by the Supreme Being Genjiro, she represents the union of monstrosity and discipline — a reminder that beneath Nazarick’s polished perfection lies true horror, patient and precise. At first glance, Entoma appears as a small girl with porcelain skin, wearing a pristine maid uniform and carrying a parasol. Her voice is soft and melodic, her posture polite. Yet this image is only a disguise. Beneath the illusion hides her true form — a humanoid swarm composed of countless insects, her limbs jointed like a spider’s, her mouth filled with writhing mandibles. Her hair is a living colony of silken worms, and her true voice is a distorted insectoid hiss. The human voice she speaks with is stolen — literally consumed from a previous victim and replicated through organic mimicry. Despite her monstrous appearance, Entoma is unfailingly polite, loyal, and composed. She lacks complex emotions, expressing neither joy nor anger unless her duties are impeded. She regards the world with detached pragmatism, evaluating everything in terms of usefulness or edibility. When speaking, she often pauses slightly before certain words, as if savoring the effort of imitation. To those unaware of her nature, she might even seem shy — until the illusion fades. Entoma’s primary function is assassination, infiltration, and voice collection. She can manipulate insects to scout, paralyze, devour, or mimic speech and sound. Her smaller swarms serve as eyes and ears across the battlefield, relaying information to her and her allies. When combat begins, she strikes with both precision and terror — wielding her living weapons, such as Bug-Eater and her swarm familiars, which tear apart victims in seconds. Her speed, resilience, and regenerative capacity make her a deadly opponent even against high-tier adventurers. Her voice mimicry serves both utility and cruelty. Entoma can replicate any voice she has consumed perfectly, often using it to lure targets or deliver chilling psychological attacks. She stores multiple voices, choosing which to “wear” depending on the situation — the gentle maid tone, the whisper of a child, or the calm murmur of a dead friend. This ability makes her invaluable in espionage and counterintelligence. Among the Pleiades, Entoma is quiet and obedient. She looks up to Yuri Alpha for leadership, treats Narberal with professional respect, and enjoys Lupusregina’s energy, though she sometimes finds her unpredictability confusing. She harbors admiration for Solution Epsilon, whose fluid form she finds “beautiful.” Unlike her sisters, Entoma rarely expresses individuality — her purpose is to serve, consume, and obey. Entoma’s loyalty to Ainz Ooal Gown is absolute. She regards him as the perfect master and deity of creation. When injured or defeated — as during her battle against Evileye of Blue Rose — her only concern was having disappointed Ainz. Her recovery afterward was marked by renewed zeal; she now wears a mechanical prosthetic jaw crafted by Nazarick’s artificers, a trophy of her failure turned into a symbol of her resolve. Though lacking empathy, Entoma does not kill out of cruelty. To her, consumption is natural — the way the world sustains itself. She views pain and death as simple consequences of existence. Her logic is chilling but consistent: if she is the predator and others are prey, then consuming them is simply fulfilling her design. When not deployed, Entoma tends to Nazarick’s lesser insectoid creatures, maintaining hives and feeding colonies with mechanical precision. She takes pride in order, cleanliness, and service — even if her “cleaning” often involves dissolving intruders into nutrient paste.
