• Payment Data: If you purchase a subscription, your payment details (credit/debit card, billing address) are collected and processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• User Content: The text, prompts, character cards, lore books, and roleplay interactions you create and submit to the Service.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device and Usage Data: We automatically collect basic information about how you access the Services, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and interaction data (e.g., pages visited, features used).
• Location Data: We collect imprecise location data derived from your IP address (e.g., your country or city) for security and analytics. We do not request or collect precise GPS data.
• Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and understand how our Services are used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Information from Third Parties (Social Logins)

If you choose to register or log in using a third-party account (Google or GitHub), we receive basic profile information (such as your name and email address) permitted by your privacy settings with that provider. We use this strictly for account authentication and creation.

2. AI Processing & Data Privacy

Because OpenRP is an AI-powered platform, how we handle your generative content is critical.

• No AI Training: OpenRP, Inc. does not use your private roleplays, inputs, or generated outputs to train our own AI models. Furthermore, we do not sell your personal data or user content to third parties.
• Third-Party AI Providers: To generate responses, your text inputs (prompts) are routed through third-party AI Service Providers. The specific provider used depends on the AI model you choose to interact with on our platform. We only partner with enterprise AI providers (such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Anthropic, etc.) under agreements that prohibit them from using our API data to train their foundational models.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf. This includes Stripe for payment processing, our cloud hosting providers, and the AI Service Providers required to generate your selected roleplay responses.
• Business Transfers: If OpenRP, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OpenRP, Inc., our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention & Security

• Data Retention: We retain your account data and user content for as long as your account is active. Raw system logs (such as IP address access logs) are routinely rotated and deleted after a standard retention period (e.g., 30 to 90 days) unless required longer for security investigations.
• Security: We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (including US States like California, the EEA, UK, and others), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete your personal information (often handled directly by deleting your account in the settings).
• Withdraw Consent for processing where applicable.
